Lisa M. Getson
Executive Vice President Government Relations and Corporate Compliance

Lisa M. Getson is Apria Healthcare's executive vice president of government relations and corporate compliance. Lisa implements Apria's government relations initiatives on matters relating to Medicare and Medicaid coverage and reimbursement for the company's home healthcare services and products. She also leads the corporate infusion clinical services and clinical regulatory groups, which provide guidance and oversight to clinical operations in both the home infusion and home respiratory/HME divisions of the company. She also manages performance improvement initiatives specifically designed to increase patient and referral source satisfaction; accreditation, licensing and corporate communications functions for the company.

Active in various industry associations and coalitions, Lisa is a member of the Board of Directors of the National Home Infusion Association, a member of the Executive Committee of the American Association for Homecare and a founding Associate and Advisory Board member of the Women Business Leaders of the U.S. Healthcare Industry FoundationTM since 2003. She also co-chairs the Industry Advisory Council of the National Association for Medical Direction in Respiratory Care, is on the editorial board of Homecare magazine and is an advisory board member of the Homecare 100tm. Ms. Getson has also testified before the U.S. Senate Finance Subcommittee on Health on Medicare payment reform issues.

A 1984 graduate of Florida State University with a Bachelor of Arts, Ms. Getson has over two decades of experience in the healthcare industry. In the early 1980s, Ms. Getson held marketing leadership positions with Hospital Corporation of America (HCA), and prior to joining Apria in 1994, she held progressively more responsible roles with a public home infusion company.
